Heyo, I'm Jo, a Computer Science graduate who is understandably frustrated with the current state of software in this day and age.
In addition to software development, I also try my hand at a number of art forms, including pencil sketches, pixel art (with an aim to adhering to classic palettes), and gamedev.
I also enjoy classic games, and am often fascinated by how developers often had to work around the limitations of older systems.
This instance serves as a professional presence on the fediverse, so expect to see my work posted here, along with other things that tickle my fancy.
Yes, I'm trans. Cope.

What a time to be alive.
I bought a transparent aftermarket shell for my Dreamcast, because the original suffered about 2 decades of yellowing. Unfortunately the logo stickers supplied with the shell were less than optimal, as they were transparent, making the blue logo hard to see against the smoky black shell, and the unsightly divot underneath.
So, I figured I might be able to do better with a decal I bought from Etsy and some thin plasticard. It's not perfect, but I'm actually chuffed with the results.

In the process, I think I saw the issue with the tape deck, and it's a common issue - belt death. So I think I need to look into replacing those belts and hope for the best. For now, though, this is a good step.
7 years ago, someone had a pop at storing analogue audio on a floppy disk.
